Driving Instructor Training
We provide training and support designed to help candidates prepare for the different stages of becoming an Approved Driving Instructor.
The amount of training required and the time taken to progress through the qualification process will vary from person to person. Factors including previous experience, individual progress, the amount of time available for training and DVSA test availability can all affect timescales.
Completion of training with Geoff Capes Instructor Training does not guarantee that a candidate will pass any DVSA examination, assessment or test, or subsequently be accepted onto the ADI register.
Part 3 and Standards Check Training
Any Part 3, Standards Check or test rescue training is intended to help instructors and trainees develop their skills and prepare for DVSA assessment.
While we will provide training, guidance and feedback based on our experience and understanding of current DVSA standards, we cannot guarantee the outcome of any DVSA test or Standards Check.
DVSA Information and Test Availability
The DVSA is an independent government agency and is not connected with Geoff Capes Instructor Training.
We have no control over DVSA application processing times, test availability, cancellations, waiting times, assessment decisions or changes to the ADI qualification process.
Any timescales mentioned on this website are intended as guidance only and may change due to circumstances outside our control.
Training Availability
Training is subject to instructor availability and may vary according to location, the type of training required and existing bookings.
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not guarantee that training will be available at a particular date, time or location.
